Complex fitout boosts lettable space

330 Collins Street occupies the busiest corner of Melbourne’s banking, finance and legal sectors. With a dilapidated central CBD property, HSBC knew it needed a fitout and construction specialist. They would need the skill and vision to handle multiple challenges such as restricted access, noise, pedestrians and asbestos on a large scale project.

Eyesore transformed to polished asset

The owner’s brief included adding value not only to current tenants, but augmenting the property’s earning power. SHAPE responded with a complex plan that, over two and half years, addressed all of these and more. The collaboration yielded extra lettable space and transformed a weary eyesore into a highly visible and polished asset.
